The buds are harvested early in the season and are oxidized like traditional red tea, but due to their youth and high quality, they retain a \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"il\"\u003egolden\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e amber hue rather than turning fully dark. Pure buds teas are labor-intensive to produce as only the young buds are used. The tannin-rich buds produce a smooth, full-bodied tea that's unique within the world of red tea. This organic \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"il\"\u003egolden\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e monkey was produced in Fanjing Shan of Guizhou from a tea garden at 1000m.
